Review:

Aussie House Swap, a CHECtravel member, has recently redesigned the site making it much more attractive. It's really easy to use. It is mainly for house swapping within Australia and New Zealand and has about 60 international listings, mostly in the UK and Canada. It is still very much an Aussie site, with such interesting choices to include in the listing as a snooker table, rain tank, bushwalking and lawn bowling. Blimey!

Aussie has a basic search engine, which allows searches by country, house type, length of stay and type of location. Several listings are marked new, although there is no indication of membership dates. The owner has assured us that listings are removed upon expiration date.

Stay tuned as Aussie House Swap continues to evolve. Aussie has discontinued the secure message manager that was server based and is now back to direct contact via exchangers. It's what their membership wanted! About 75% of their listings have pictures. Updated 02/10
