Review:
Trade to Travel, an upscale site, is an atypical home exchange, specializing in vacation or second homes. The concept is based on the point system whereby each member’s home is allotted points based on the weekly rental value. Using the point system makes for total flexibility in vacation spots as it makes non-simultaneous exchanges easy.
Trade to Travel specializes in luxury homes, though not all homes listed are in that category. It is directly involved in arranging the home stay. Three references are required in order to list. All this service is free if one qualifies - then to trade members must purchase "points" (with 100% money back guarantee if not satisfied) for initial membership trades. Add additional fees for various transactions (20% of rental value of property). Fractional ownership opportunities are now separated out. This is all explained on the TTT website in detail.
TTT is also the inventor of non-reciprocal exchange (circa 1991).They appear to have nearly 100% listings with images. Needless to say, KYT was impressed by the offerings. Updated 02/10
